About Our Guest Speaker
Dr. Angelica Walton
Dr. Angelica Walton is Director of the Center for Planetary Health and Environmental Justice at the University of Minnesota and serves as Research & Scholarship Director for the Planetary Health North America Hub. A Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, her work bridges planetary health, healing justice, and regenerative systems design to advance holistic, community-centered solutions. Rooted in ecofeminist values, she integrates arts, storytelling, and place-based relationships into scholarship and education to cultivate interconnection, equity, and resilience. Across her roles and global partnerships, she uplifts nature-based community wisdom and supports the restoration of health in relationship to land, body, and collective well-being.
