Chinese medicine has produced a vast body of medical knowledge and applications, based on the Han Dynasty medical classics Neijing and Nanjing, including applications of yin/yang theory, five phase theory, and channel theory. Z’ev will discuss all of these principles and their application to acupuncture/moxabustion, herbal medicine, dietetics, lifestyle and longevity practices.

About Our Guest Speaker
Z’ev Rosenberg, L. Ac.
Z’ev Rosenberg, L.Ac., among the first generation of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in the U.S., began his career in shiatsu and macrobiotics before opening his acupuncture and herbal practice in 1983. He helped establish Colorado’s acupuncture licensing law as president of the state association (1984–1988) and later taught for 23 years at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. A widely published author and lecturer, he currently directs the Alembics Institute in San Diego, serves on UCSD’s Integrative Health Center advisory board, and teaches in several doctoral programs. He has written four books, including A Ring Without End (with Stephen Cowan).
